Quilting

Lily swinging while I watered the garden
It was a quiet day so I had time to continue machine quilting my quilt. I pieced this quilt with Mrs. Parker's help about ten years ago. Through a very long string of events it is now back in my hands to quilt with my own machine. Mom Joyner helped me start quilting it at Thanksgiving during her visit, and it is being worked on again! She got the idea of using a stitch my fancy machine has. I am using invisible top thread and gold bobbin thread to create a hand-stitched look.
Made with Thimbleberries fabrics - which I love!

My sewing setup. I use all the tables to keep
from hefting the whole weight of the quilt.
The tablecloth helps it slide with more ease.

My girlies!
